Notting Hill Carnival 2000

Part of an It's a Knockout Team include the
Carnival Scare Dem Team from Hackney, East London.
Carol, Mercy and Jeanette joined Helen aboard
The Chale Carnival Costume Band's Millennium Warriors float
- which, in 2000 was representing St Lucia.

For two consecutive years SEXplained... joined the float,
taking 11.5 hours to complete the circuit.
During this time thousands of photographs were taken by revellers, the press - and the police! - and the logos were exposed to hundreds of thousands of people during the day, in a memorable way.

Tom, and his friend Ben, had just left their schooldays behind to become the
Notting Hill Carnival SEXplained... Condom Men
in the suits lent by Durex for the Carnival weekend.
They are now happily involved with student life at Cambridge and Oxford Universities, respectively.

Joining the Chale Carnival Costume Band's sponsored transport for the day,
from the safety of the top of a double decker bus,
condoms and information leaflets were again handed out all day,
as the route took a full 11.5 hours to complete.

Often, the Condom Men went walkabout into the crowd, as well.

An exhausting day but this sort of fabulous exposure for anyone who supports SEXplained... is assured, and more..........
